Welcome to the Prince Albert

With its grand corner position, The Prince Albert has been charming locals since 1866 (we look good for our age, right?). We sit right opposite the entrance to Battersea Park, a mere hop, skip and a jump from the iconic Albert Bridge and a short stroll over the river from fashionable Chelsea and the King’s Road.

We are the perfect sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle to catch up with friends and family, have a post-work (or post workout!) pint and a bite to eat. Our well stocked bar, great selection of beers, eclectic wine list and delicious seasonal menus should please even the most discerning customer.

We’re counting down the days to February and the long-awaited return of the Guinness Six Nations. Join us for six weeks packed full of heart-stopping rugby, temptingly-tasty bar snacks (perfect for a mid-match nibble) and of course, unlimited pints of Guinness.

If there’s one thing we know how to do, it’s party. From intimate birthday drinks to those bigger milestone events, we want to be there to help you celebrate your big day. Our main bar has plenty of cosy corners where you can party with pals for those who fancy something casual, and our ground floor semi-private Hunter’s Corner is ideal for dining with your nearest and dearest. And don’t forget our gorgeous Royal Garden, a perfect place to lap up a bit of fresh air all year round (it’s heated and covered, don’t worry!).

Planning a more grand affair? Our stunning Bridge Room (recently refurbished and more beautiful than ever) is available to hire privately. A short walk from Chelsea Town Hall, it’s the ideal venue for a wedding reception.With scenic views of Battersea Park and its own private bar, you won’t have to leave the party for a second.

Battersea’s Best Roast 

Banish the Sunday scaries and start looking forward to the end of the week by treating yourself to the best roast in town. Tuck into tender roast meat (or veggie alternative – we’ve got you, veggie friends!), golden roasties and an enormous double-egg Yorkshire pudding, all accompanied by tasty seasonal greens and topped off with our famous rich gravy. We’re getting hungry just thinking about it…

SUNDAY MENU

Sunday roast dinner at the Prince Albert, just perfect! My wife and I reserved a week in advance and were seated at a fantastic table by the window for the 5 of us. We had a great time catching up with our friends, as we don’t see them every day and weren’t rushed whilst choosing our drinks and meals. We loved the great variety of food, there was an additional menu to the roast lunches and the mocktails/cocktails were fantastic. Great to have some wonderful wholesome food before going to the Grease Immersive Experience at Evolution in the park. Portion sizes were very generous and of great quality. Although we didn’t have space left, we did try the cheeky little homemade donuts, just divine! Last but certainly not least, we were being looked after by Bradly, who was just so fabulous, we couldn’t have wished for anyone more attentive and lovely. Thank you so much for making this such a great experience!

We popped in on the off chance after a long walk, staff bent over backwards to make a table for us, food brilliant – fish and chips for me and crab for the other half – so good we had to share both! Lovely friendly atmosphere and prices very very reasonable for London – we live in the sticks! Booked again this week on our next trip down – I cannot imagine not going to the Prince Albert whenever we are in London. Thank you to all staff.

We organised our wedding lunch and drinks at the Prince Albert on Saturday and it was absolutely perfect. The team was welcoming, the event was very well organised, the food was delicious with great service and we really felt looked after. Thank you to Micaela and the whole team for making our day so special and I really recommend organising events there.

Couldn’t have asked for more to celebrate our wedding We had a meal for 17 people on Saturday followed by drinks outside for about 30 people and the staff were so brilliant from start to finish Kind attentive and so cheerful and welcoming Food was lovely and the team went out of their way to make us feel special and look after us even putting my bouquet in water and making sure we didn’t forget it Absolutely cannot thank the team enough you really helped make our day so special We’ll definitely be back!
